Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025 · Last Updated: March 18, 2026

Flowego (“Flowego,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our email automation platform (collectively, the “Service”). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.

1. Data Collection

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for an account, subscribe to a plan, use the Service, or otherwise contact us. This may include:

  • Account Information: name, email address, password, company name, and billing details.
  • Usage Data: pages visited, features used, workflow configurations, email templates created, and interaction timestamps.
  • Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, and access times.
  • Third-Party Integrations: when you connect external services (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Drive), we receive limited data necessary to provide the integration, such as spreadsheet metadata and contact fields. We access this data solely in read-only mode unless you explicitly grant write permissions.
  • Communication Data: messages you send through our contact forms or support channels.

2. Data Usage

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To process transactions and send related billing information.
  • To personalize your experience and deliver content and features relevant to your interests.
  • To send you administrative communications, such as account verification, security alerts, and support messages.
  • To monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service's functionality, reliability, and user experience.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Flowego uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and understand how you interact with the Service.

  • Essential Cookies: required for core functionality such as authentication and session management. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics Cookies: help us understand usage patterns and improve the Service. You may opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings.
  • Preference Cookies: store your settings and preferences (e.g., language, timezone) for a more personalized experience.

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of the Service.

4. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Flowego integrates with Google API Services to provide the following functionality:

  • Google Sheets & Google Drive (read-only): when you connect your Google account, we access your spreadsheet data and file listings solely to allow you to select contact lists and data sources for your email campaigns. We request the spreadsheets.readonly and drive.readonly scopes.
  • Gmail (send only): if you choose Gmail as your email sending method, we use the gmail.send scope to send emails on your behalf. We do not read, index, or store the content of your inbox or any received messages.

Flowego's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we commit to the following:

  • We only use Google user data for the purposes described above and as displayed in our OAuth consent screen.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve the Service, to comply with applicable laws, or as part of a merger or acquisition with adequate data protection.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, market research, or to build user profiles unrelated to the Service.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you have given explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
  • Google OAuth tokens and associated data are stored securely using encryption at rest. Tokens are automatically refreshed and can be revoked by the user at any time.

Revoking Access: you can disconnect your Google account at any time from the Connections page in your dashboard. You can also revoke Flowego's access directly from your Google Account Permissions page. Upon revocation, we will delete your stored Google tokens within 24 hours.

5. Third-Party Services

We may share your information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Payment Processors: we use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle billing. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: the Service is hosted on reputable cloud providers that maintain industry-standard security certifications.
  • Analytics Providers: we may use analytics services to monitor and analyze Service usage.
  • Email Delivery: transactional and marketing emails may be sent through third-party SMTP providers.

These third parties are contractually obligated to use your data only for the purposes of providing services to Flowego and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless retention is required by law, regulation, or legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, or maintaining security logs).

Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Withdraw Consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

8. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security audits, and secure development practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
